After you finish the book in class, respond to the blog prompt. Blog post is due at the end of class.
Prompt: In at least 100 words, reflect on Weisel's memoir. Write about whatever you feel appropriate. Some places you can start: What did you take away from it? What was the hardest part for you to read? What was it that allowed Elie to survive? Were there any themes or moments that stuck out to you? Did you learn anything knew about the Holocaust history or events?
Please bring literary analysis pre-writing handout with you to every class. You will be turning this in with your paper on Friday, 3/22.
